"My shoes got delivered to the wrong…"
My shoes got delivered to the wrong country twice. Awaiting a refund but really, really not impressed. The customer service emails were confusing and unprofessional. Wouldn't recommend or buy from again.

"Loyal customer no longer!"
I own about 7 pairs of vagabond shoes and really love the style of them. I'm really disappointed that as a regular customer they have been really unhelpful with a recent experience with their more expensive atelier range. I purchased some ~£200 shoes and they look great but are completely impossible to walk in. I don't believe this is due to fit as they feel fine standing still and all other pairs I have in the same size fit well. They are flats but have such a stiff sole/heel, unlike any of their other styles I've tried.

Vagabond have said they can't do anything about this as I've worn the shoes outside. They have clearly not been tested in a real life situation.

Zero refund or exchange offered and I don't feel I can sell on in good faith.

Really surprised at customer service especially given I have been a regular customer in the past. Would happily exchange but this has put me off the brand and I can't risk another big spend with no support from them if quality doesn't match price.

"Very disappointing"
I ordered shoes from this company in my usual size. When they arrived they were massive so I wanted to return them and get a refund. The returns service using FedEx simply does not work and despite trying to use the FedEx website and call them and also speaking with the Vagabond chat line who promise to sort something out I have now wasted about 5 hours trying to send them back as well as being out of pocket by €100. Very disappointing

"I have bought Tara Vagabond boots twice…"
I have bought Tara Vagabond boots twice in the last 4 months, and returned them twice because the sole cracked, first on the right boot, second on the left, both times in the toe area. I bought them for the first time in December 2022, the second time in February 2023, I only wore them 6 times. It's a shame for such poor quality, so many certificates and such a high price, the boots cost €200.
When I contacted Vagabond customer service, they replied that they were not aware of the problems with these boots, but everything here is full of complaints. Shame!

"Vagabond Tara platform boots"
I own more than 5 boots/shoes by Vagabond and have had a terrible experience with my Tara boots which I bought earlier this year. The rubber platform snapped / broke in half at the front of the boot so it can't longer be worn. Unfortunately I bought them in a reseller (Office shoes) so I can't even bring them back or contact Vagabond, and I don't know what to do to fix it. Pretty disappointes as none of my other Vagabonds have had the samme issue.

"Smart shoes."
I ordered several pairs of shoes as I wasn't sure if the sizes would fit. I kept one pair and returned the rest. I am very happy with the shoes and receive compliments about them but the return took much longer than expected to be credited.

"I even didn't receive my order"
I even didn't receive my order. I paid for new trainers Selena and 9 days after confirmation I got a letter about refund. Strange story. I hope I see my money on the account. Disappointed.

"Awful quality"
I bought a pair of Courtney sandals and the quality was terrible. For 110 euros you get a pair of sandals with already scratched leather, holes in the rubber sole, poor stitching, and a very short strap that was way too tight around my ankle. I was lucky to have bought them on Zalando so the return was quick and efficient.
Now I found a pretty design of loafers, but I do not trust this brand anymore.

"Great product, no delivery concerns"
I ordered boots before I read these reviews and instantly regretted my order. There was no need. My boots arrived without incident on the stated dates and my boots are beautiful. Love them, true to size. First wear was up the dancin and not one blister. All good.

"Unprofessional brand"
First time I bought from them boots on sale, they come with a defect. I contact them and they tell me to return the shoes and they’ll send me another pair. I ask them to make sure that my number is still available before they are set aside for me and they confirm it. I send the shoes and the next day they tell me that unfortunately there was an error in the system and that my number is out of stock, then they send a refund and apologize with a 15% discount coupon. I send lots of emails proposing more solutions for the issue since we are at the end of the season sales and I would not have found boots on sale. I suggest they could fix them and send them back or send them with the defect and give me a partial refund. They tell me that the system they have doesn’t allow it. I work for a brand of Italian furniture and I know how these things go, you have to find a solution for YOUR mistake and satisfy the customer. They completely washed their hands and offered me a discount that I can find in any newsletter. I do not recommend buying shoes from this brand, they are not serious and professional at all. I buy online a lot and this never happened to me.

"Terrible quality for overpriced boots"
I purchased boots for 130 euros. The leather on top of the boot ripped completely open from a small scratch and the leather on one side of the boot wore out and looked like I'd been wearing the boots for years, even though I'd wore them less than 10 times. This all happened during the 1,5 months after I had purchased the boots.
Vagabond customer service told me to contact the reseller and sort it out with the shop. In the original e-mail I already mentioned that I am no longer in the country where I originally purchased the boots from and that is not an option for me.

If you are selling your products on an international terrain, through resellers and your own shops, it would be nice to think from a customer side of view.
What could go wrong? If a product is faulty, how could we solve these problems, whilst keeping our brand name strong and not let people lose trust in our name?
What if a person purchases a product at a place X but needs it serviced at a place Y?

A simple solution could include helping me to send back the boots to the shop or offering for me to take them in to repairs in your representative shop. Whatever, there are several ways...

Vagabond does not care or clearly has not carried out any kind of a customer satisfaction research to address these issues.

It's always easiest to detach yourself from the product as soon as it has been sold. Clearly their business model is not relying on returning customers.

Long story short: Avoid at all costs! Unless you want to pay over 100 bucks for a pair of boots you can wear for a month.

"Disappointing"
Disappointing. Boots looked poor quality and were extremely tight around the ankle when they arrived so had to return them.

My return arrived in their warehouse over a week ago and I still haven't received confirmation or my refund (of c.£300!). Customer service just keep saying they are busy and aren't able to give a further update.

Customer service responses have been helpful and fast - just wish the same could be said for their sorting facility.

"Vagabond schlägt Recycling vor, statt Refund…"
Bin seit Herbst mit dem Kundenservice im Kontakt, da ich meine Schuhe zurückgeben wollte, da die nach einer Woche aussahen wie Sau. Die Absätze sind mies verarbeitet. War auch beim Schuhmacher, der nichts machen kann und entsetzt war: hier die Reaktion vom Kundenservice:

I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with our offer, but unfortunately, as this has been reviewed by our production department and by a second opinion classified as not a production fault we have made an exception in this case already by refunding 50% of the amount.

If you consider the shoes un-wearable, and if it is possible, we would rather like to ask you to take the shoes to recycling. This way we minimize the environmental impact and increasing the chance of closing the loop.


Einfach nur bitter, dass sie statt die eigene Qualität zu verbessern, einem raten man solle doch einfach die Schuhe bitte der Nachhaltigkeit recyceln :D

Das ist doch ein Joke?!

Schön mal 140€ Schuhe produzieren, die der/die Kund:in nach ner Woche tragen bitte der Nachhaltigkeit wegen recyceln soll.

Einfach absurd!

Mir geht es nicht gut damit, dort Schuhe gekauft zu haben

"Great service, hopefully great quality as well"
I placed an order of two pairs (Tara and Judy boots) on Friday and received them on Tuesday (I live in Greece, EU). Sizing is according the company's size chart, perhaps you should buy a bigger one on the warm lining series, since the inner might be a little bit narrower. Unfortunately I had to return one of the two pairs and the corresponding amount of money was refunded two working days after the item was delivered to the company.
Both shoes look stylish and of great quality. Looking forward to receiving the next pair that I ordered. I hope they will last for a long time. Last but not least, customer service was excellent (I had misspelled my phone number and they responded on time in order to change it and receive my order without any problems)
